Seniors, as you are applying to colleges, please keep in mind that you may be eligible for a waiver to cover the cost of application fees. The college to which you are applying will likely request a high school transcript as well. Please see Mrs. Butler to 1) determine if you are eligible for a fee waiver or 2) to request to have your transcript sent to your college of interest.

Bright Futures Requirements

The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program establishes lottery-funded scholarships to reward Florida high school graduates for high academic achievement.

Florida Shinesoffers a variety of free resources to assist students in college and career preparation, including a grade level checklist for9th,10th,11th, and12thgrade students.

Students must have community service hours in order to meet the eligibility requirements for Bright Futures. Please see theCommunity Service Guidelinesfor more information about community service opportunities. Students will document their community service hours on theCommunity Service Log. Completed community service logs should be submitted to Mrs. Butler.
